Dynamic Gantt Charts In this video, I demonstrate how to create a dynamic Gantt Chart in Excel using VBA, including annotated “Event” diamonds to highlight key moments, like delays due to vandalism or bad weather. You’ll learn how to:

  • Use VBA to create and add shapes (rectangles and diamonds) for chart visualization.
  • Add event-specific code to these shapes to highlight project milestones and delays
  • Incorporate form-based popups to provide additional details for each event.

  • You can download the fully annotated code (in the Gantt Chart share.xlsb file) below Explore more interesting VBA products and tutorials on my site!
